When you purchase the Ingenu™ RPMA® DevKit, you have what you need to get started in areas already covered by RPMA. The RPMA DevKit allows for the software integration of RPMA technology into your application or device. With several input and output options, the RPMA DevKit acts as a reference Application Communication Module (rACM) based on python scripts and REST protocols, capable of connecting a large array of sensors to the Internet. It is easily programmed using the included USB cable, and can demonstrate proof of concept for your device or can be used as a blueprint for your design. The RPMA DevKit allows for rapid concept-to-prototype deployment, and can be configured out of the box with several different examples from our libraries.

Since we are still rapidly rolling out the Machine Network™ in the US and internationally through our partners, some areas may not have RPMA coverage yet. We won’t let that stop you. In the Exploration Kit, you are renting a tower-grade Access Point (AP) which is the exact same as those deployed on the Machine Network but attenuated for working in your development environment.

INCLUDED IN THE RPMA EXPLORATION KIT:

  • 1 RPMA Access Point (rental only)
  • 2 RPMA DevKits (purchased)

nanoNode. Small Form Factor. Big Possibilities.

The nanoNode is Ingenu’s third-generation RPMA wireless network radio module, which builds on eight years of real-world network deployment experience to bring you the most advanced IoT wireless technology available. The nanoNode is a small form factor wireless network module, that easily integrates with a microcontroller or applications processor using a simple Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI). The top side of the printed circuit board (PCB) is enclosed with a radio frequency (RF) shield, and uses a land grid array (LGA) style layout designed to be soldered directly onto a host board via surface mount technology (SMT) processes. It is built around Ingenu’s 90 nm baseband ASIC, which reduces module costs and improves power performance. The nanoNode is designed for ultra-low power performance with up to 20 years of battery life for many sensor applications.

Single SKU Design. Instant Global Market Access.

One chip works globally on all licensed RPMA networks. When developing a device connected by RPMA, your device can work anywhere in the world, needs only one integration, has no onerous certification fees, and brings you the IoT’s single largest marketplace. Selling your smart, connected products to a global market doesn’t get any easier than with RPMA.
