Unlimited Capacity
The Path to the First Billion
What does it take to connect tens of billions of devices? In short, capacity. But it is more than just capacity, that capacity must scale. Network scalability means that as new devices join the network, it will be able to intelligently handle those nodes. Typically, this is achieved by adding new access points. To make this work without limitation, the modules must be smart enough to not crowd-out other modules. In other words, any network that aims to serve the tens of billions of devices that are projected to hit the Internet of Things in the next several years must be able to grow their network to accommodate so many machines. Ingenu knows it isn’t enough to be able to serve millions of devices, so we designed RPMA so it could grow along with the IoT to tens, even hundreds of billions of devices.
Full Featured Value
Ingenu offers the lowest cost of deployment because each of our access points can serve so many devices. We wanted to ensure that all the devices connected to our network would never get crowded out as more and more devices joined the network. This is a real concern for networks that aren’t scalable. Without smart modules, as more devices are added they will crowd-out other devices and adding new towers won’t help fix the problem. This is a serious limitation. We also chose spectrum that offers an enormous amount of bandwidth so that we have the flexibility and power to increase capacity. Not only does that spectrum offer generous bandwidth, but it is available everywhere, so that capacity scalability is available everywhere.
Smart Modules = Smart Network
RPMA offers truly unlimited capacity. We designed our modules to work well as new access points are added. We chose spectrum that offers enormous bandwidth. RPMA is designed to add more devices intelligently. Unlimited capacity is more than just a fancy headline. Unlimited capacity on the Machine Network is something Ingenu has envisioned from the beginning.
