With only 17 access points, Ingenu’s RPMA technology provides machine connectivity to the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area
SAN DIEGO & DALLAS– April 13, 2016 – Ingenu™, the pioneer in delivering connectivity exclusively to machines, and the City of Dallas, Texas, today announced the deployment of Ingenu’s Machine Network™ in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Immediately available, the Machine Network will provide IoT (Internet of Things) connectivity to the region and will cover approximately 2,116 square miles, serving a population of more than 4.4 million people.
The Machine Network is powered by Ingenu’s RPMA® (Random Phase Multiple Access) communication technology, which provides robust, reliable connectivity across myriad operating environments. As a result of its superior range and capacity, RPMA requires minimal infrastructure investment, with only 17 access points delivering connectivity to the entire Dallas/Fort Worth region. Conversely, it would take 10 to 30 times the cellular infrastructure to provide similar coverage.
